
The Gaming Commission of Ghana held it’s End-of-Year Thanksgiving Service/Party to reflect on the successes and challenges of the year and to express gratitude to God for a fruitful 2025 administrative year.
The program which took place on Monday, December 23rd, 2025, at the Commission’s premises, was graced with the Minister of the Interior, Hon. Muntaka Mubarak-Mohammed, the Governing Board, Audit Committee, Entity Tender Committee and Heads of Agencies under the Ministry of the Interior.
The Minister of the Interior, Hon. Muntaka Mubarak-Mohammed urged all Staff to cultivate a spirit of forgiveness especially during the Yuletide. He noted that in the course of working together, misunderstandings and disagreements may arise. He however stressed on the importance of forgiveness for the collective good and progress of the Commission. The Minister further observed that the Commission had much to be grateful for and highlighted improvement in the Commission’s work environment, from a less spacious office, to a more comfortable and conducive environment. He commended Management and Staff for their effort and pledged the Ministry’s support to help the Commission build a permanent accommodation structure.

The Board Chairman of the Commission, Hon. James Enu, Esq., noted that throughout the year, the Gaming Commission executed its mandate with professionalism, accountability, and diligence, while ensuring a proactive gaming industry that protects the interests of all stakeholders. He expressed appreciation to the Minister of the Interior for his continued support and guidance to the Commission.

The Acting Gaming Commissioner, Mr. Emmanuel Siisi Quainoo on his part, expressed gratitude to God for His guidance and protection throughout the year. He applauded the Minister of the Interior, Hon. Muntaka Mubarak-Mohammed for his continued support, guidance, and commitment to the growth of the Commission. Mr. Quainoo further commended staff of the Commission for their dedication, resilience, and unwavering support, which contributed significantly to the growth of the organization during the year.

Delivering the homily themed, “The Dangers of Offence” Rev. Dr. Lawrence Nene Kofi Tetteh, emphasised that while offences are inevitable in human interactions, the manner in which individuals respond to them determines their emotional, spiritual, and physical well-being. He highlighted the need for Staff of the Commission to practise forgiveness as a divine command that promotes peace and growth. Rev Dr. Tetteh further advised the Staff to avoid unnecessary conflicts and rise above negativity. The End-of-Year Thanksgiving Service was interspersed with soul-lifting musical ministration by Harmonious Chorale, whose inspiring songs reinforced the Christmas spirit of thanksgiving
